Characteristics of Textile Machinery
In modern times, people have deepened their understanding of the structure and physical and chemical properties of fibers, thus creating more and more advanced process methods, which can give full play to the characteristics of fibers and fabrics. Therefore, the drafting must be distributed to the corresponding equipment of each process to complete. Another example is the resin processing process (see anti-wrinkle finishing). The fabric is impregnated with resin in a dipping mill, then the resin is condensed between fibers by high temperature treatment in a baking machine, and finally the unbound resin residue is removed by soaping and washing in a flat washing machine, and then dried by a dryer. The entire process is determined by the process requirements and cannot be reversed, unconditionally omitted or combined.

Pedal Loom of Ancient Textile Machine
The pedal loom is a general term for a textile machine with a pedal lifting opening device. There is a lack of reliable historical information on the earliest appearance of the pedal loom. According to the historical books, the number of gifts of cloth and silk among the princes during the Warring States period was 100 times higher than that in the Spring and Autumn Period, and the physical historical materials such as the stone of Han paintings engraved with pedal looms unearthed in recent years, the researchers speculate that the emergence of pedal looms can be traced back to the Warring States period. By the Qin and Han dynasties, the vast areas of the Yellow River valley and the Yangtze River valley were in common use. The use of foot pedals to lift the opening is a major invention in the history of the loom. It frees the weaver's hands from the lifting action to specialize in shuttle and weft beating, greatly improving productivity. Take the production of plain weave fabrics as an example, it is 20 to 60 times higher than the original loom, and each person can weave 0.3 to 1 meter per hour.
